Ice Compression begins by applying pressure at the distal (furthest) end of a limb and incrementally transitions pressure towards the proximal (closest) end of the limb. All compression services can be complimented with heat+vibration wraps.

The following are contraindications for ICE COMPRESSION. We recommend you consult with a medical professional wIth any medical questions or concerns

You should avoid using ice compression if you have:
  • Acute thrombophlebitis
  • Acute pulmonary edema
  • Acute congestive cardiac failure
  • Acute infections

  • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)

  • Episodes of pulmonary embolism
  • Wounds, lesions, or tumors at or near the site of application

  • Where increased venous and lymphatic return is undesirable — Bone fractures or dislocations at or near the site of application
  • Localized unstable skin condition in the affected region
  • Known hematological dycrasias which affect thrombosis
  • Sensitivity to cold
  • Extreme low blood pressure
